Heather J. Mitchell R.N., J.D.
After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma in 1987, Heather Mitchell knew she wanted to use her nursing degree to fight on behalf of patients in a court of law.
Three years later, Heather was admitted to the Bar in 1990 after obtaining her law degree from Oklahoma City University.
As a licensed registered nurse, Heather has focused her legal career on personal injury cases, particularly regarding medical malpractice.
Heather combines her insight of hospitals, medicines and procedures with years of personal injury experience to provide her clients with a unique level of expertise. She’s passionate about being able to be an advocate for people who are going through a difficult time in life.

Heather was named the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association Member of the Year in 2000 and is also a member of the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association. She is also involved with various other state and national organizations and has spoken at seminars involving nursing home negligence and hospital liability.
