Katie Templeton

Katie attended the University of Arkansas on a full academic scholarship as a Chancellor’s Scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Science cum laude in Business Administration in three years before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2006.


Since receiving her degree, Katie has worked exclusively in medical malpractice. Katie began her career in the defense of hospitals, physicians, dentists, long term care facilities, nursing homes and assisted living centers,.


But since that time uses her skills and expertise representing patients and families who have suffered the devastating effects of medical negligence. Katie’s compassion for her clients is evident throughout her representation.


In 2014, Katie was appointed to the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners by the Governor of Oklahoma. She is one of two non-physician members of the board, whose principle duty is licensing of applicants for the practice of osteopathic medicine and the enforcement of the rules and regulations related to the profession.


Katie is licensed to practice in all state courts in Oklahoma and Arkansas and the United States District Courts for the Western District of Oklahoma.


She is a member of the Oklahoma and Arkansas Bar Associations, the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court, and has been named a Rising Star for Oklahoma by Super Lawyers in medical malpractice defense for 2013, 2014 and 2015. She has been serving as An experience Medical Malpractice Lawyer in Oklahoma.


Katie serves on the Cavett Kids Advocacy Board, a fundraising and volunteer organization within the Cavett Kids Foundation. Cavett Kids raises money for children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses and provides the children with the opportunity for a summer camp experience. Katie resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her husband, young son and daughter.
